Sven Rau, Founder of SR SwissConnection, brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the Investment Goods Industry, with a primary focus on the markets of Asia and the Middle East.

Throughout his career, Sven has driven growth in Sales, Business Development and Key Account Management, representing prestigious Swiss companies. 


The foundation of his success lies in his ability to truly understand customer motivations and objectives. By applying a solid, fact-based approach (360° perspective) and combining it with strong cultural sensitivity, he has built long-lasting, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across industries.

 

Sven's academic credentials include an apprenticeship in Electronic / Mechanical Engineering, comprehensive training in Marketing & Sales, an Executive MBA, and an advanced degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Customer-Centric Value Creation—a key area of expertise in his approach to Global Account Management.
